Is The 2022 Camporee sponsored by BSA or Erie Shores Council?

The Port Clinton Camporee is Sponsored by Port Clinton FOP Lodge #79. You will see many familiar faces!

Does The 2022 Camporee include Jet Express tickets to Put-in-Bay and the attractions on South Bass Island?

Troops interested in traveling to Put-In-Bay on Saturday, may purchase round trip tickets leaving at 8:30am and returning at 4:00pm by contacting Andrea in Group Sales at 419-732-2800 to order tickets at a special price.

Can we bring bicycles to the camporee?
No, we do not allow bicycles as we have no place to store them.
Can I make a deposit to hold "x" number of reservations?
No, we do not take reservations. Only paid registrations assure your spot at the camporee. Also, troops should note that adjustments in registration can only be made in extreme emergencies and all should be made by August 31.
What if I get our registration in too late?
If we have not meet our registration limit by the August 25 Deadline, we will accept your troop. However, if we reach capacity we will return your registration check.
What do we need to bring to the camporee?
Basically, you’ll need tents, sleeping bags, scout uniform and appropriate clothing.
Are we allowed to bring fueled stoves or lanterns?
No, these are prohibited.
Are cub scouts able to attend?
We follow the guidelines to safe scouting as follows: webelos scouts are allowed to attend with proper parental attendance. Other cub scouts are not allowed to camp but can visit the camporee on Saturday. Any cub scout group attending are on their own for expenses, as we do not have a one-day meal plan available.
Do I need to have health/permission slips for my troop and adults?
Yes, every person attending needs to have a complete form that will be mailed with your tickets and other information once we receive your paid registration. You will also need to bring your troop registration form with you and must match your health permission form.
We have a scout or leader that can come only for 1 day. Is there a special rate?

No, if someone is unable to make it for part of the event, the cost is still the same. 

Someone from our troop can't make it. Can I get a refund?

The only refunds given will be for changes made prior to August 15. 2022.

Can you accommodate special needs (diet, medication, medical equipment)?
Yes, but this should be noted on your registration form in order for us to plan ahead.
Our troop needs to leave on Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Will we be able to?
Yes, you can leave early but you must check out at our registration tent at the camporee site.
Do you have a first aid station?
Yes, we have EMS at the Camporee site.
